Joe Harris

Gloucestershire County Councillor for the Cirencester Park division and Cotswold District Councillor for St Michael's ward

Joe brings over a decade of experience in local government and politics to his roles. Joe was first elected to Cotswold District Council when he was 18, and became Mayor of Cirencester when he was 20. When he was 26, Joe became leader of Cotswold District Council and led two successful election campaigns which saw the Liberal Democrats take majority control of the Council. After acting as leader for six years, Joe recently stepped down to focus on his other roles as Vice Chair of the Local Government Association and the Cabinet Member for Highways at Gloucestershire County Council. In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with family, friends and his dog Chester.
